Evoluted x Score Finalist Status

After an incredible year where the Evoluted team smashed it out of the park, it was truly the icing on the cake to be shortlisted for PPC Campaign of the Year (B2C), SEO Campaign of the Year (B2C), and Integrated Search Campaign of the Year in the 2021 UK Digital Growth Awards for our work on  

Although we didn’t win the awards, we were immensely proud of what we achieved, and we have to credit the entire team for how diligently they worked on the account. Considering is such a young business (it was established in 2019), we achieved some astronomical growth across a short period, and being shortlisted was a great way to recognise the part every team member played in our success. 

Why did we choose to submit this account? 

We chose to submit our work on for award consideration because we were really happy with the results we generated, growing the business from zero revenue to £1 million in the space of only 9 months through a combination of SEO, PPC and paid social. But more importantly, we wanted to submit the work we did for this account because of how much it meant to the team, and the impact it had at what could have been a challenging time for the agency. 

During the pandemic, many businesses reduced their marketing budget to conserve funds, so our founder, Ash Young, decided it was the perfect time to take a leap of faith and set up a new venture. Not only did setting up this new business give the whole team a chance to hone their skills by tackling a new challenge, but it crucially meant that we were able to keep every member of the team engaged and in work during this time. We also scaled so significantly that we ended up needing to hire two more team members, offering us a great opportunity to provide more jobs to our local community.

What was so exciting about working on was that the team also created and delivered the campaign from start to finish, allowing us the opportunity to exercise full creative control and provide some exceptional results, so it felt like a no-brainer to submit this account for award consideration!

What were some of the highlights?

Working on was a real highlight of the year for the whole Evoluted team because we hit some incredible milestones, including: 

  • Scaling the business up to over £10k in revenue per day 
  • Hitting 100,000 orders
  • Gaining an impression share on our paid ads of over 90% across all targeted terms, a click-through rate of 15-30%, and a conversion rate of over 6%
  • Plus earning over 12k reviews from clients with an average rating of 4.84 out of 5 for the quality of the products and service!

This is just a selection of the wins the Zero to 2 Million Hero campaign generated, and they just keep coming in, so you can imagine how happy we are with how well our strategy has performed.

Outside of the campaign results, a real highlight of the year was the fantastic feedback we received from the UK Digital Growth Awards judges on our entries, who said of our PPC Campaign of the Year Entry: 

“The idea to do this with a goal to keep your people in jobs was inspiring. A brave, bold move, which showcases the capability of your team well.”

What does being shortlisted mean to us? 

When we found out we’d been shortlisted for 3 awards, we were thrilled, and the atmosphere in the office was very energetic! 

We all know awards don’t mean everything but after a rollercoaster year, hearing we were shortlisted was a fantastic boost for the whole team and showed us that we deserve to be proud of everything we’ve achieved. Competition in our categories was tough and we were against some of the most talented and innovative agencies out there, so being in such great company was quite the win too. 

All in all, despite us not taking the trophies home, we were ecstatic with the result!

What are our plans for the future? 

We’ve made some key hires to bolster our SEO and Content Marketing team over the last few months, securing some brilliant new clients and delivering some multichannel campaigns that we’re really proud of, so we are excited to see where 2022 takes us. Right now, all we can say is that we hope we will continue to have our hard work recognised, and fingers crossed we will take home the awards next year- watch this space! 

We’ve also relaunched our marketing networking event, Sheffield DM, after transitioning it to online only during the pandemic, and we’re looking forward to our next event which will be held in person, but also streamed via Youtube Live for those further afield to enjoy!
