Adfabric Media shortlisted for driving 306% YoY growth for Virtual Landline, with PPC Campaign of the Year (B2B)

Adfabric Media, a leading edge, full-service media agency, based in London have been shortlisted for this year’s B2B PPC Campaign of the Year.

Adfabric Media’s Award Nominated Entry – Supercharging new customer growth, within a mature and highly competitive B2B Telecoms landscape

Virtual Landline is a VOIP telecoms provider, offering SME’s in the UK the flexibility of a business phone number that can be accessed via any device, anywhere in the world. The sector is cluttered, with a mix of the big players such as BT, Vonage, Virgin, Skype and along tail of over 50 challenger brands, with Virtual Landline being one of the longest standing.

With aggressive targets, scaling competitor spend and plateauing PPC performance YoY – Virtual Landline’s Paid Search account was in need of supercharging.  Previously managed by a Google Premier Partner agency – touted as one of the top 3% in the market, the account was technically sound and delivering solid performance, albeit low level growth.

The team at Adfabric identified a 3 pronged approach to scale growth, applying their modern media planning principles:

The result:

  • 50% growth in new customers in month 1
  • Over 3 x YoY growth in new customers acquired via PPC
  • 28% lower overall CPA – no mean feat, with increased market CPC’s due to more aggressive competitor bidding
