Our ongoing commitment to digital innovation and customer experience has been recognised in both the B2C Website of the Year and Best UX categories, with the work of our Product & Development team being rewarded with a nomination for In-house Team of the Year.
The BOXT website shortlisted for B2C Website of the Year
The BOXT website launched in 2017, becoming the first online platform for boiler installations. Since then, the business has experienced impressive growth, becoming the largest online boiler installer in the UK.
The website continues to be the forerunner of the industry for both its functionality and usability with a true multi-product eCommerce offering. The overall objective is to streamline the traditionally lengthy process of homeowners upgrading home heating systems, as well as having new energy efficiency technology installed, and through increased efficiency, pass the savings onto the customer.
BOXT Customer Experience Optimisation nominated for UX award
With technology and innovation at our core, we are proud to have been shortlisted in the UX category.
We continually look to improve our customers’ experience and in the last 12 months, there have been a number of projects designed to enhance the website user experience through better signposting for returning visitors, alongside improving the overall checkout experience.
In what can be a confusing and complicated industry for customers to navigate, we analysed our customers’ online behaviour to identify ways to further simplify the experience and help customers get the answers they need. The impact of the project has been wide reaching with both new and returning customers now receiving a superior user experience.
The BOXT Product & Development Team shortlisted for In-house Team of the Year
The BOXT Product & Development team includes over 60 experts responsible for the development, maintenance and optimisation of the website, back-end product management and admin systems, customer app and engineer app.
Driven by rapid growth and ambitious plans for continued expansions, the team has achieved impressive results within the past 18 months. This includes the build and launch of a customer app, and developing and launching customer journeys for two new products, alongside ongoing testing and optimisation of UX to improve conversion and customer satisfaction for existing journeys.
