We’ve got a lot to be proud of, it’s not just the fact that we’ve won multiple awards from our 20 years of being in business, but our people.
Our employee retention rate is much higher than the national average, and we have our very own “Boomerang Club” made up of team members who initially moved on to pastures anew, and have eventually made their way back to us. Our exceptional recruitment campaigns drive fresh talent through the doors, but the dedication to training and development of everyone who is a team member ensures a great staff retention rate of over 30% higher than the national average.
We run monthly socials to allow the team to interact in an out-of-work environment, and the summer and winter socials are really something to write home about! These socials help build friendships and support networks within the workplace – allowing for a collaborative atmosphere both inside and outside of working hours. We strongly believe that a happy workplace runs in parallel to a successful company.
Our monthly socials are only the start of the dedication to our employees; through providing support to nurture mental health, training to upskill talents, and opportunities for fun, we have built a community of dedicated individuals that enjoy coming into the office, strive to perform well and are eager to drive results. We have an expansive training programme to encourage employees professional and personal development – with team members undertaking further education under Click’s supervision, and are investing in apprenticeships within the business.

UK Digital Growth Awards – 2023 nominees!!!
All the above have no doubt contributed to the reasons we have been nominated for the “Large Integrated Agency of the Year” award; but this is not the only award we have been nominated for – we are also proud to have been nominated for “Integrated Search Campaign of the Year” for the work we have done with one of our long-standing eCommerce clients.
We work hard for all our clients, but for this campaign in particular we had set ourselves a monumental task to outperform 2020’s record statistics thanks to the digital-boom brought about by the pandemic, as well as reach a new demographic. And yet, we not only met every single goal we set for ourselves, but thanks to our team’s hard work and dedication, we exceeded them.
Click has worked with Chums, an online-only, mail order company with 30 years of experience in clothing and furnishings, for 7 years – partnering with them pre, during, and post pandemic. The end of the pandemic saw subsequent drop in sales and in December 2021, 45% of non-food retail sales took place online, down 13.9% from 2020.
To maintain 2020 statistics we needed to rethink our strategy, and aimed to attract a broader audience compared to Chums’ usual (adults aged 55 and over). To do this we used an integrated marketing strategy that included:
- Paid media (PPC)
- Organic search (SEO)
- Content marketing
With an organic search (SEO) campaign to increase brand credibility and exposure, a broad match paid media (PPC) keyword campaign to drive incremental traffic, and a holistic combination of creative campaigns, including content marketing and digital PR, we set several challenging targets for ourselves, that included both revenue, and campaign goals.
We were elated when we not only met the targets but exceeded them.
