A little about us…

Starshipit is the best practice shipping and fulfilment platform that helps retailers save time and deliver great shipping experiences for their customers.

We’re on a mission to take the hassle out of shipping, streamlining every step of the fulfilment process. For retailers, our platform reduces handling time and minimises human error, giving them hours back every week. And for their customers, shipping no longer needs to be a black box of “Where’s my order” queries, difficult returns and inconsistent tracking notifications.

As you can probably imagine, with technology so good, we felt we should create a website that conveyed this to potential customers. That’s where our website project started.

Why our website is so important:

Starshipit’s website is the front page of our business, and an overview of our shipping and fulfillment solution. Primarily, it explains how we simplify logistics, save time and reduce costs – and how we’re different from our competitors.

Targeting eCommerce retailers and businesses with shipping needs, our strategy involves leveraging our user-friendly website, targeted marketing, and partnerships to reach potential clients. The overarching objective is to provide an efficient, seamless experience that fosters customer loyalty and drives growth.

How we fixed it:

In 2022, we embarked on a comprehensive brand refresh, aimed at enhancing our digital presence, but more importantly aligning ourselves with the evolving expectations of our customers. Collaborating with top-tier agencies, we focused on creating an intuitive, user-focused website that not only reflects the our core values but also addresses the practical needs of our customers.

The redesigned now offers seamless navigation, streamlined access to information, and a wealth of resources that empower users to make informed decisions about their shipping and fulfilment requirements. By prioritising customer experience and feedback, we believe we’ve crafted a website that stands out in a competitive market.

Winning the B2B Website of the Year award is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in the digital space. This recognition not only validates the our efforts but also sets the bar high for future improvements and growth.

To give our new website a solid foundation, we utilised Sanity, a cutting-edge headless CMS that enabled us to deliver a fast, visually appealing, and responsive website across various mobile and desktop. This choice provided us with a strong base to build upon and ensure optimal performance and accessibility for our users.

Innovation was a driving factor in our design process. We aimed to break free from the typical mold of uninspiring tech company websites and create a unique experience that would resonate with our target customers. To achieve this, we focused on the following key aspects:

  • Design: We crafted a visually engaging design that was both modern and approachable, using vibrant colors, dynamic illustrations, and appealing typography.
  • User experience: We prioritized an intuitive, user-friendly interface with clear navigation and a logical information hierarchy. This ensured that visitors could easily find the information they needed, resulting in a seamless user experience.
  • Content strategy: We rolled out a content strategy focused on addressing the needs of our audience. By providing valuable, informative content, we’ve positioned ourselves as a knowledgeable and trustworthy partner in the shipping and fulfillment industry.

We think we’ve created a standout website that effectively communicates our value proposition and distinguishes us from our competitors.

  • Same period completed signups: 1,075 (2021) vs 1,281 (2022)
  • Reduced bounce rate: 39.55% (2021) vs 27.92% (2022)
